Middle School- 5th grade

One thing I love about a new school and a new school year, is that I get to meet new people and I get to see new places. So far the teachers are some of the best that I have had and I am very excited about a field trip we are going to have in the spring. It is for two days and one night and we go by bus to Alabama. I have made a couple friends during this last nine weeks and hope to make a lot more. This year we have started a new thing - clubs. It is very fun becuase we have something to do in the morning instead of work - I am in the pen pals club, so we write letters to third and fourth graders in California and we will also be writing to soldiers in Iraq. I also just started strings this year and all we get to do so far is pluck the strings. We have to learn how to read music and then how to play the notes on the violin. It's very easy so far, but, I think it'll get harder once we use the bow.
